Before D.zoo existed, there was a boy named DianDian whose world revolved around curiosity. Animals—tiny kittens cupped in his hands or birds vanishing into open skies—became his earliest companions. Each one left a vivid imprint on his childhood.
He eventually discovered a home for all of his beloved animals—in sterling silver—despite the fact that he was unable to keep them all.
During his years as an animator, hammering silver became a way to unwind. With every tap of the metal, the animals from his memories seemed to wake again—alive, expressive, and full of gentle spirit. He realized he could use solid silver to capture the softest moments: an owl turning its head, a cat curling into a warm circle, a fox pausing as if about to speak.
He quickly realized that he was creating a world, not just metal.
The Beginning of a World: From DianDian to D.zoo
Animation demanded long hours, and most of his days disappeared into shifting frames and stories built for screens. Inside a drawer, however, small silver prototypes shimmered with quiet possibility. They felt like unspoken dreams waiting to be seen.
Walking away from a stable career was a terrifying leap. But when DianDian compared the fleeting frames on his screen to the weight and warmth of a silver sculpture in his hands, he heard the truth in his heart:
he wanted to create something people could hold, cherish, and keep close to their pulse.
So he made his choice.
He left his job and poured everything he learned about motion, expression, and soul into his silver designs. Each creation became more than a shape—it became a moment, captured with tenderness and intention.
That was the beginning of D.zoo.

When "Mr. Seal" Entered the D.zoo
As the universe of D.zoo grew, a very special visitor walked into DianDian’s life—a gentle woman who would later become his wife. She was warm, kind, and carried the softness of spring sunlight.
In their love story, there was a sweet beginning: he called her “Mr. Seal.”
She adored seals—their round shape, their innocent eyes, and their comforting presence. The nickname became a symbol of her lovable spirit, and a reflection of his devotion to her.
Her support became the most faithful harbor in his creative journey.
And her love added a new color to the world of D.zoo.
